Hello, everyone! I'm Moonlight2095, and this is my submission for the PKMNSkies group on deviantArt.

From the feedback I've received, I'm going to put this character on the backburner and let her stew for a bit. She needs something that'll make her interesting and unique for me to roleplay as her. This opening was definitely not the right time for her debut.

Personality: (N/A until further notice) Humble and Amiable, yet Cautious and Maternal.

Lexa was always very careful with what she did. It was a habit sprung from competing in contests. Yet, she never won 1^st place, so she was always glad to admit defeat. Her friendly manner was what connected her to Melanie. Yet, since Melanie had no mother to care for her growing up, Lexa took on the role of caretaker and guardian.

History: (N/A until further notice) Lexa was originally a Skitty who roamed the grassy areas of Route 116 by Rustboro City. When she was 12 years old, Lexa was found by a human Pokemon trainer named Kennedy. He gave Lexa to his younger sister Melanie for her 10th birthday. Melanie enjoyed having Lexa as company, and Lexa was moved to Lilycove City. Lexa learned that the siblings' father worked at the Lilycove Department Store, but their mother had passed away 4 years ago. Lexa took it upon herself to look after Melanie when they were home alone. Because Melanie lived by a Pokemon Contest building, she and Lexa trained and competed regularly. During their free time, the two would sit outside by the garden and read books.

When Lexa turned 18 years old, Kennedy returned to Lilycove and gave her a Moon Stone. Lexa evolved into a Delcatty, and Melanie took her on walks around the city with her human friends. With the new form, Lexa was more beautiful than any of the Pokemon at the Pokemon Contest. They reached the final round twice, but they couldn't win the competition. After their second attempt at the Contest, Melanie met the love of her life, Pence. Lexa grew a fondness for Pence, and she subtly nudged the two lovebirds together so they could bond. Three years later, Pence proposed to Melanie. Lexa watched Melanie's overjoyed face with content.

When Melanie was getting ready to move to Fallarbor Town with Pence, she talked to Lexa about what the Delcatty wanted to do. Melanie hoped that Lexa would also find herself a Pokemon to bond, like she and Pence did. Lexa hadn't thought of herself since she was so devoted to care for Melanie. Some Pokemon walked through the garden in Lilycove, but Lexa didn't think of them as more than passersby. With a smile, Melanie flashed a passport to a town called Springleaf. She and Kennedy had been saving up for something special for Lexa, and Kennedy had heard of the town during his travels. Lexa was so touched by their thoughtfulness. The next day, Melanie and Lexa parted ways, and Melanie waved and shouted at Lexa to send as many letters as she could. Lexa boarded the bus, and she eagerly awaited her new adventure.
